There are about 27 Million people that practice Sikhism. That makes up about 0.39% of the world population. Around 83% of them live in India and the rest are around the world. The Sikhism population outside of India makes about .01% for most of the countries. The biggest percentage of population outside India is about 2.3%. (oxfordsikhs.com, 2008)
