Books/Laws.

Hello! On this page I’m going to be talking about the books and laws of Sikhism. They don’t have EXTREMELY strict laws, but they do have some things they should try and follow, such as…
1.       Nam Japo – to remember God’s name in a meditative manner all the time. This means to not use their God’s name in vain.
2.        Kirat Karo – This means you should always try to do your best.
3.       Vand Ke Chako – This means you should try to share with others. (wiki.answers.com)

The Sikh faith has two books for guidance and revelation of their beliefs and rules laid down by the Ten Gurus. These scriptures are called…
1. Sri Guru Granth Sahib
2. Dasam Granth
The Dasam Granth is a composition of the Tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. “Dasam” Means “tenth”.

The Sri Guru Granth Sahib is more than a book for the Sikhs. They honor this book as kind of their living Guru as ordered by the Tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji and accord it the same (Sikhiwiki.org, 2007)
